Product Review On Maybelline Baby Lips Quenched

I am a huge fan of lip balms and lipgloss. As for lipstick, I think it's okay, but I can never really find a shade that I love. (Hopefully that will change after trying on the very cool COVERGIRL Blast Flipstick Lipstick product review that I have to do for BzzAgent--a new post will be up about that ASAP) This is one of my own product reviews for a product that was purchased for me. My sister kept going on and on about how great Maybeline's Baby Lips lip balm are. She knows I love lip balm and told me I just had to try it. So, my wonderful fiance' bought me one to try out. I didn't want to get something that had an intense color so I picked one that was a clear color. It's called number 5 Quenched. According to the label, it works as sunscreen (SPF 20) for your lips. It says to apply it liberally to your lips 15 minutes before go out into the sun, and to reapply every 2 hours, but it also claims to protect your lips and keep them hydrated for up to 8 hours. Lov

Influenster Review on Dino Lingo Italian

As a member of Influenster I was given a very cool opportunity to watch a variety of language learning programs for kids. I was given the opportunity to watch a complimentary video clip, since like I've stated in other posts, Influenster is a website in which their members are given products to try out and review for absolutely free... Anyway, I was told to pick from a number of different Dino Lingo cartoons in several different languages. Dino Lingo videos were created to teach children how to speak different languages in a fun, creative, and easy way. I, personally, LOVE programs that teach you how to speak in different languages. I can speak a bit of Spanish, but understand it very well and also took both American sign language and Italian in college, both of which I had excellent grades in. I just love the idea of being able to speak in different languages. It's a lot of fun. My 4 year old son actually watches a ton of different cartoons that teach Spanish, English,

BzzAgent Review On Afrin No Drip Original Nasal Spray Update

I said I would post up an update on this nasal mist product and so here it is: First off, yes it did help me breathe better for the first few hours. well, it does say it's supposed to provide 12 hr relief right? HOWEVER, after a few more hours my nose started to get pretty irritated and then it even started to get pretty runny. Not fun. Especially since I was headed to the gym later that evening. Imagine being in the middle of a body pump weight lifting class in the middle of a squats track and having to wipe your nose with a tissue. Absolutely horrible. It also sucked when I was in my body combat class shortly before, throwing my kicks and punches and having the sniffles. I didn't enjoy that one bit. My final opinion on the product? Well, in case you didn't catch, from my first post on the product, I have never been a huge fan of nasal spray. I don't like the thought of shooting a liquid spray or mist up my nostrils. I do not plan on using ANY nasal spray or m

BzzAgent Review on Burts Bees Intense Hydration UPDATE

Well, if you have been reading my posts, then you are aware that I was given a product as a BzzAgent from Burts Bees. It was called the Burts Bees Intense Hydration Face Care line. It included a cream cleanser, treatment mask and night cream. I have been using it for a little over a month now and have been happy with the product since the week I started. I use the cream cleanser in the morning and evening, the mask once a week, and the night cream every night (I missed a night or two because I fell asleep early--I was  just so tired~)  My skin still feels amazing. It looks a lot smoother (in person, don' t know if you'll be able to tell in the pic that I am including), feels very soft and supple, looks younger and my pores are way less visible. Another great thing? I've noticed that I can use less foundation to cover up spots on my face because my skin has a more even color tone now. I love this stuff! My skin is always so, so bad around this time of year. I mean d

BzzAgent Review on Afrin No Drip Original

I never really had a problem with nasal congestion until a few years ago. Don't know why that is... Well, I actually never used anything for congestion. If I were sneezing or had other symptoms, I'd take some cold medication, but it didn't always help the congestion. So, I'd just accept it and go on with my day, miserable and stuffy... Someone told me one day-- "Hey, why don't you just use nasal spray?" And, I was like, "Hmm...I don't know. I guess I just never really thought about it." So, I headed down to Walmart and purchased a store brand bottle that you squirt a few drops up your nose.   Now this was not a very pleasant experience. I don't normally squirt anything up my nose so it felt very strange and I immediately felt this cold liquid slowly dripping down into the back of my throat. Oh, and the taste was just nasty. I figured that it was normal since I couldn't figure out how I could expect something liquid to stay

Influenster--What's it all about?

I just wanted to include this post to explain to everyone what the hype is about Influenster. This is a long post but it is full of everything you should know about Influenster and why I love it so much. I love product review sites so I became a member not too long ago. I read about it on a Squidoo page and it sounded great. Basically, Influenster is a site that is 100% free to join and you are asked to simply give your opinion on products that you use or have used in the past. You share what you like and dislike about these products through blogs, reviews, videos, pictures, etc. You can link to your social networking sites as well--i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram... You get points for everything that you do, which is pretty awesome too. INFLUENSTER= YOU influence  future products! You are also given survey questions to answer and then they custom tailor products to you and you are sent a VoxBox (your sample), in the mail, which is also 100% free. Many of the products may

Influenster Crest 3D White Teeth Whitening White Strips Update

I said I would do an update and upload the rest of my pics of my teeth. Here are the last 3 days of my tooth whitening adventure. My mouth is no longer sore. Yay. Like the Crest website stated, and also it was printed on the product box. "Any tooth sensitivity is only temporary and not harmful." Yes, it was temporary and not too fun, but I have whiter teeth which is very nice :) By day 5, I think they had reached their peak and weren't going to get any whiter. I like how they turned out though.   Day 5     Day 6   Day 7 I think they look A LOT whiter than before. My final opinion on this product? It's worth it if you really want whiter teeth! Honestly, I didn't expect this much of  a difference.    Here is me with the cheesiest smile ever (I just wanted to show off my newly whitened teeth!) Better yet, here's a before and after photo:

Product Review on Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution

(This is one of my own product reviews and not for any particular site that I am a member of. Also, no, I do not work for Bausch + Lomb or any other contact lens solution companies) I'm always on the lookout for free samples and I found a great product for soft contact lens wearers. I went to Take the Biotrue Challenge  (I believe that they have stopped giving out samples, but you can always search around online to see if anyone else is giving some away), and they sent me a 4 FL OZ (118 ml) bottle of solution for FREE. Have you ever heard of Biotrue Multi-purpose Solution? Well, for those of you who have not, I definitely think that you should try it! I have been wearing soft daily wear and disposable contact lenses for about 13 years now....Wow...(taking a deep breath)...is that a long time? Come on...I started wearing them when I was about 13 years old so...yeah. I've tried so many different kinds of solution, rewetting drops and enzyme pills and my eyes wou

Influenster Crest 3D White Whitening Strips Update

The journey to getting whiter teeth has honestly been a bit of a painful one! Every time that I've used the whitening strips, I've been okay, until hours afterwards. My teeth have gotten so sensitive that I have to take an Ibuprofen before bed just to cope. Maybe I'm a bit of a wuss? Maybe not.  Not even the healing of my wisdom tooth extraction felt as uncomfortable.   Seriously. Here are some picture updates of my teeth. Day 2 Day 3 Day 4  My camera died but I will be uploading the rest of the week's results. Ugh. My mouth is so sore! Not loving this feeling but like that my teeth are looking nicer. (I think they are!) It's really hard to tell by these pics. The lighting is horrible, I know. In fact, by looking at the pics, it actually looks like my teeth looked the whitest after the first day and duller afterwards. I didn't touch up the photos and I tried to do them in the same amount of lighting each day (in my bathroom). I

Influenster Product Review on Crest 3D White Whitestrips Intensive Professional Effects

Received my first Vox Box from a company called Influenster. Basically, it's another site that I am a member of that gives you surveys to fill out and they match products that you receive, try out, and review. And, yes, it's FREE! I have been a member for over a month and finally received a message saying that I had been accepted to receive a Vox Box with an oral aesthetics product but did not specify which. I was excited because I love reviewing my free products :) Box arrived in the mail, and on the back it said Crest 3D White Whitestrips... Let me tell you how I felt after reading the back of the box--- NERVOUS! Why, you ask?   Because I have heard so many stories about these whitening kits and how painful they can be in your mouth! I do, have a pretty high pain tolerance---I've had over 30 piercings done throughout my lifetime and a tattoo and was fine, but when it comes to my teeth, they are a bit sensitive. I do, however, like the idea of having
