Naturade Vegan Smart Chocolate and Chai Mix Product Review

Now I may not be 100% Vegan (yet), but I do love Vegan products. I was very interested in trying out Naturade's Vegan Smart shake mixes. I love making shakes, don't you? I have tried several different kinds, only a few that were Vegan though. I was sent two different flavors- 2 packs of Chocolate powder mix and 2 packs of Chai flavored. I normally like Chocolate and Chai flavored drinks so these sounded pretty good to me. The first one that I tried was the Chai flavored one. I used vanilla soy milk (maybe not the greatest idea.) I really should have used plain soy milk since Vanilla soy milk already has a very sweet vanilla taste to it, but we were out. I don't drink actual milk, which was in the fridge, and I wasn't about to mix it with juice or water. Well, I mixed it in with a fork---another mistake. I usually use a blender, bullet, or my nifty blender cup. Have you guys heard of those?? Blender cups are awesome for protein shakes and milkshakes. You ju

Cooking With Beans Cookbook Product Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. I eat a ton of beans several times a week, every week. What can I say? I just love them. They can be incorporated into so many different great recipes, and flavored in so many different ways on their own. There are several different kinds of beans and I've rarely tasted a bean that I didn't like. I was given the opportunity to review Cooking With Beans by Rhiana Jones. It was sent to me as an e-book that could be read on my Kindle or smartphone. Very convenient, in my opinion. I just downloaded it onto my kindle app on my phone and was able to look over all of the recipes in the cookbook. What I Think About The Product I was sitting at home, grabbed my phone and looked over the cook book. First thing that I noticed was that all the recipes are fairly simple to make and a lot of the ingredients needed for practically all of the recipes are things that I usually keep in my kitchen. I loved that! The book is n

The UGLee Ergonomic Pen Product Review and Giveaway!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. Another interesting product that I was allowed to get for free, in exchange for my honest review, of course---The UGLee Ergonomic Pen! According to Dr. James Lee, this pen is good as a pen for anybody, but great for people who experience pain and discomfort when writing (ex: arthritis, carpal tunnel, etc.), children learning to write, and those who take a lot of notes. My Little Backstory... I don't know about you, but I was the kid in school who always had a billion pens in my backpack that I would use. Don't laugh, but I had more pens than you can imagine. And, yeah, I had a few that were my favorite and I would never like to lend those particular ones out. Alright, fine so I guess I was a nerd... Let me tell you why I had so many pens. I have always been a writer. I have owned so many journals as well. As a child I owned 8 or 9 journals that I would alternate through and I actually completely fi

Deep Sleep With Andrew Product Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. As a busy homeschooling mother of a 5 year old, I tend to have an erratic sleep schedule. Some nights I can sleep for several hours straight, but most nights I have trouble staying asleep through the night. There are times when I can lay in bed for hours, close my eyes, and simply not be able to fall asleep. Other nights I can fall asleep and wake up every couple of hours. Everyone needs sleep to function properly and to be healthy. So, of course I'm desperate to find something that can help. I have tried a few different methods and love to try different audio programs that are aimed at helping me sleep soundly. I was very interested in this program by a man named Andrew Johnson called Deep Sleep with Andrew. He has a lot of training in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Reiki, Stress Management Skills, Meditation and Mindfulness. He says that he is "happiest teaching people why they

Instajunction Products Review- Use Your Own Photos!

I received this product a couple of weeks ago. I had put it aside because it arrived when I was actually on my way out to go do some Christmas shopping. Then I completely forgot about it! Instajunction is actually a really cool website that allows you to use your own Instagram photos or uploaded photos on quite a few different things. They are based in the UK so the prices shown are not in American dollars, but they do offer worldwide shipping. You can use your very own Instagram photos on coasters, polaroid style cards, cufflinks, mini photo books, magnets, vinyls, keyrings, aluminum plates, framed prints, and even charm bracelets! Now, who doesn't think that sounds pretty awesome? I love the whole idea. I was allowed to pick any of the items for free, within a certain price range, and so I chose the Polaroid style cards. Why, you ask? Because I could get 50 of them for free to review and try out. Main reason why---because my husband and I are having a late wedding re

Save The Blow Dry Moisture Eliminating Queen of Shower Caps Product Review

I absolutely love to try out new hair and makeup products so I was very pleased to receive a FREE shower cap from SAVE THE BLOW DRY. It comes in this little plastic package (front side) (Back side of package) A Little Bit About My Hair I have very, very, curly hair, (as you can see in the picture) okay, and I only wash it a couple times a week. I do this because if I wash it more often it tends to get very tangled and frizzy--two things that I absolutely hate. And so I've been through one horrible shower cap after another for years. I've used the thin plastic disposable ones as well as reusable thicker ones. I hadn't found one that I really liked because they were all just really bad. The disposable ones didn't always keep my hair from getting wet or frizzy. Ew. The reusable ones weren't any better because no matter how many times I washed them, they ended up smelling pretty gross. And yes, I bought the antimicrobial ones and they still e

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. I was given the opportunity to read another ebook for free in exchange for my honest review. This book is called The Impaler's Revenge ( The Impaler Legacy #1) by Iona Visan. Synopsis  In a world crawling with vampires, Romania is the safest place left on earth. Thanks to the Little Council, there hasn't been a vampire on Romanian ground in over five centuries. But one day, Liana Cantacuzino, also a member of the Little Council and a descendant of one of the old noble families, is ordered to bring one in, covertly. Enter Maximilien Hess, a thousand years old vampire determined to ruin the existing order of things. Suddenly, Liana finds herself forced to protect Hess, instead of having the pandurs kill him. With the help from her trustful friends, Rodica Ghica and Ştefan Sturdza, and that of an innocent bystander, Dr. Jesse Carver, Liana has to find out what is going on and what the President is hiding
