Another great book about a possessed kid but with a tiny twist 3. I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan--this story is just plain cool and original. Really, really liked it. 4.  Things Fall Apart  by Chinua Achebe--had to read this in college. Was VERY unlike what I traditionally read but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.  5.  B...

Skate Into Fun Children's Book Review

Thanks to Washington Longfellow Press, my five year old son and I have been granted the opportunity to get a free copy of "Skate Into Fun" from the Jenna Fun book series. It was written by Dr. Nev Nickels. My son is a huge lover of books so I knew that he was going to be really excited to be able to read a new children's book. He reads several books everyday- some we read together and others he reads on his own. Yes, my five year old can read. He reads at a really high level-and can actually read better than some adults! (Sorry, I had to brag a little...) Anyway, We received an e-book version of the book that we are able to read on the Kindle app on my tablet. I love Kindle books and he does too. Let Me Tell You All About the Book Filled with really cute and colorful illustrations geared toward a child audience Very imaginative  A lot of  fun and easy to read for young readers. Great vocabulary builder for kids too. Also great for kids who are be...

Twilight

Yes, I will admit that I read every Twilight book in less than a week ( I read so many books and am really fast at it...) When I first saw a copy of Twilight, I was shopping around at Walmart and walked past the "apple in hands" cover. I was like, "What is that book about?" Not sure why the cover caught my eye, but it sure did. I don't even really like apples...  I read the back and thought that the book sounded like something I would like to read. I'm actually more of a horror novel fan, but I do love vampires and occasionally I like to read books about romance. I didn't hurry up and buy the book though- just didn't have enough money on me that day, and I had more important things to buy. I even completely forgot about it for a few months. Then, one day I was at one of my friend's birthday parties and I saw his little teen sister sitting on the sofa reading the "apple in hands" book. Suddenly, it all came back to me. I remembe...
