Veggie Tales Yuletide Ice Cube Fair Children's Book Review

My little boy likes watching Veggie Tales whenever it happens to come out on t.v. He really likes the stories that they tell. However, I was only recently made aware that there is actually a book series, and we were lucky enough to be sent one of the books a few weeks ago. It's a Christmas story, which fits in well with this time of year. Synopsis: It's that wonderful time of year again---the Yuletide Ice Cube Fair! It's a time of festivity and fun as veggies gather to munch on snow cones, slurp down slushies, and ice skate on the frozen pond. But the greatest part of all is the Ice Cube Carving Contest! The veggies have been busy! They've carved Christmas feasts, trees, angels, and more. Each one is trying to outdo the other in an effort to win the grand prize! But the smallest of all these ice entries is a carving done by Junior Asparagus---a tiny stable with a shepherd on one knee. Kids will discover that it's not what's grand, or bigger, or be...

He quoted several of the pages and I could tell he was really enjoying the book. There are some really nice images throughout the book as well.  What I love the most about this book is the fact that there is so much interesting information inside of the book that neither my son, nor I already ...

Annabella Giggles All Day Kid's Book Review

My son and I were given the opportunity to read and review another Kindle book from Dr. Nev. This book is called  Annabella Giggles All Day . As I've said before, my 5 year old loves to read books. He literally reads stacks of books throughout the day, every single day. Yes, he can actually read better than most kids his age and older. :) I have been trying to build up my Kindle book collection with some fun books for him to read when we're out and about. He really does love reading books on my Kindle app. A Bit About the Book It is aimed toward a young audience- particularly younger elementary aged children (6 and under). It is very colorful, and yes, creative and fun for young readers. I think that it should be an easy read for most young readers/beginners. Did my son like it? He says that he did like it. However, I don't believe that he  loved  it because after he read it twice he didn't ask for it again. Usually when he really likes a book he ...
