Surface Children by Dean Blake Book Review

A few days ago, an envelope containing a small black box arrived in the mail for me. I had no idea what it was but I knew it was probably a new product to review. When I opened up the box, I was pleasantly surprised to see a fresh new book inside.Have I mentioned how much I love to read? Well, if not, I do! I read practically every single day! The book that I received in the mail is called Surface Children  and it is by Dean Blake. About the Book: (Author's Blurb)   Dean has once again demonstrated his mastery of the art of story-telling in the much-anticipated collection of short stories. From a satirical tale of a group of teenagers who crave nothing but perfection to a horrific account of a young man who claims to eat people. Surface Children introduces its readers to a generation consumed by vanity, self-indulgence, violence, and a twisted understanding of love and heartbreak. My Thoughts on the Book: Well, I honestly idea had no idea what to e

Hope everyone is having a great day today! If you know me, then you are well aware that one of my all time favorite things to do is read, read, and read some more. I have read more books that you could possibly imagine and I love to read practically every single day. My latest review is on a set of books known as The Reason Series that I was allowed to read for free. The titles are Give Me Hope and Give Me Reason and they are both by a very talented writer named Zoey Derrick. Annabella Giggles All Day Kid's Book Review

My son and I were given the opportunity to read and review another Kindle book from Dr. Nev. This book is called  Annabella Giggles All Day . As I've said before, my 5 year old loves to read books. He literally reads stacks of books throughout the day, every single day. Yes, he can actually read better than most kids his age and older. :) I have been trying to build up my Kindle book collection with some fun books for him to read when we're out and about. He really does love reading books on my Kindle app. A Bit About the Book It is aimed toward a young audience- particularly younger elementary aged children (6 and under). It is very colorful, and yes, creative and fun for young readers. I think that it should be an easy read for most young readers/beginners. Did my son like it? He says that he did like it. However, I don't believe that he  loved  it because after he read it twice he didn't ask for it again. Usually when he really likes a book he

Techno Cardio Coach Follow-Up

Hello everybody! So, I've been doing the Techno Cardio Coach program that I mentioned in a few previous posts. It's been a pretty busy week and a half but I've been doing the HIIT training that is talked about in some of the e-books available. I try to incorporate it into my workouts at the gym- I listen to the audio tracks while on the stair master, treadmill, and stationary bike. I listen to it while I'm walking and running around with my son at home (yes, extra exercise). The music is great and the coaching added in is a good touch too. I've also found the eating tips very helpful. I already eat pretty healthy but it helps to know how to eat even healthier! Have I lost any pounds? Well, after looking at the scale and noticing no pounds have been lost, at first I was a little dismayed. But, after trying on a few different outfits, I realized that I actually have lost a few inches! Remember--the number on the scale doesn't always mean anything. It do
