Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. The weather where I live fluctuates dramatically and it drives me nuts. One minute you’re freezing and piling on a ton of clothes, and then later in the day, you’re dying to peel each layer off and drenched in sweat. Not fun for anyone. What I hate about these weather changes the most is the fact that I will get a sore throat   or a cough fairly easily. Then I’m trying to stock up on cough drops/lozenges to soothe my throat. Pine Bros was kind enough to send me a very generously filled box of several packs of a variety of their softish throat drops. Sure made me happy during this time of year! They sent me a few packs of honey, licorice, and wild cherry flavor. I received packets and also plastic tins. I tried the honey ones first when my throat was irritated one morning. I popped one in my mouth and sucked on it, letting it slowly dissolve in my mouth. I tried to bite into it once, but they are nothing

Haven by D.C. Akers Book Review and Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. I just finished reading the first two books in the Haven series, for free recently. The synopsis for both books sounded appealing to me, so I really wanted to read them: Haven Series Collection (Books 1 & 2)   Known as a place of refuge, Haven is a sanctuary for those with supernatural abilities. Decades of peace between the Witches, Vampires, Goblins, Elves, and Orcs is coming to an end. Now the once tranquil world is shrouded in deception and corruption. Dark secrets tear at the very fabric of their alliance, giving way to an evil that stirs in the shadows. Exhilarating and utterly gripping, the HAVEN series is an action-packed journey full of suspense, magic, mystery, and intrigue   A Stranger Magic (Book One Synopsis)- Sam Dalcome thinks he is so completely average that no one ever notices him. Until he discovers a mysterious stranger outside his home. Bewildered, he tries to uncover the s

Vitamin C Serum Skin Care Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. A few weeks ago, I received a free bottle of Vitamin C Serum from Pure Luxe in exchange for my honest review. I wanted to make sure and use it for a short while so that I could let you all know the effects it had on my skin, god or bad. The shipping was very quick, which was great! This is how it arrived--very secure in bubble wrap and tape.  The glass serum bottle and dropper came in separate little bags It was all very simple-All I had to do was screw off the top of the bottle and replace it with the dropper . I love that it comes in such a small size and that it has a dropper that can be used. I am a bit of a clumsy person and would hate it if I had to just pour it onto my hand (I would definitely spill it!). The dropper is  also great because you only need to apply a tiny amount onto your fingertips and are able to do so easily. Just wanted to give you the size of both the bottle and d

Hand of Chaos Book Promo

Have you read Hand of Chaos by J. Hamlet yet? I've only read a little bit of it and would love to finish it. It's a pretty interesting read, in my opinion. Read the synopsis and about the author below: Synopsis: Exhausted, cynical, and confused, Anna is always there to report for duty. She's part of a clandestine government team that defends the nation against supernatural terrorism—a job that understandably leaves her life in shambles and drives her to drink a little more than she should. Toss in a fear of intimacy with a desire to have friends and lovers like a normal person and, well, Anna is a troubled soul wrapped in a special agent with arcane, magical powers. Waking up hungover at five-thirty in the morning with a zombie-infested apartment building in the heart of DC to deal with, she's knows she's got the makings of the worst morning possible. Carribean Trading Sauces- Island Fever Salsa and Habanero Mango Review

Hi everybody. I have been so busy the last few days with moving and did not have internet! So annoying! But finally it's on and I can post yet another product review. My husband and I really like to try out different sauces(especially hot sauces) with our foods so we were really interested in trying out one of the sauces from  Carribean Trading .  I was allowed to pick the one that I wanted us to try out so I picked the Island Fever Salsa since we eat salsa on a pretty regular basis. (They have quite a few different sauces to pick from and it was between the Island Fever Salsa and one of their Habanero sauces that I wanted to pick from). This is what arrived in the mail: I was pleasantly surprised that they sent a free bottle of Habanero Mango Mayhem Wing Sauce as well! Island Fever Salsa: This salsa is a little different from the salsas that my husband and I are used to eating. It has an interesting blend of habanero peppers, onions, mang
