Vitamin C Serum Skin Care Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

A few weeks ago, I received a free bottle of Vitamin C Serum from Pure Luxe in exchange for my honest review. I wanted to make sure and use it for a short while so that I could let you all know the effects it had on my skin, god or bad.

The shipping was very quick, which was great! This is how it arrived--very secure in bubble wrap and tape.

The glass serum bottle and dropper came in separate little bags

It was all very simple-All I had to do was screw off the top of the bottle and replace it with the dropper . I love that it comes in such a small size and that it has a dropper that can be used. I am a bit of a clumsy person and would hate it if I had to just pour it onto my hand (I would definitely spill it!). The dropper is  also great because you only need to apply a tiny amount onto your fingertips and are able to do so easily.

Just wanted to give you the size of both the bottle and dropper compared to the size of my hand

What I Thought About This Product:

I was excited to start trying it. Here is a picture of what my skin looked like the first day that I started using the serum. I normally have combination skin, which outbreaks that occur from time to time, acne scars that I've had since I was a teen, fine lines on my forehead and cheeks.
The directions say to apply just a little bit to your fingertips and apply onto freshly cleaned skin. So each time I use it, I make sure my face is clean and free of makeup. I use it in the morning after I shower and then a tiny bit at night after cleaning my face. If you use toner on your face, I would suggest you use the toner, allow it to dry completely, and then use the serum.

After a week, I really didn't notice anything much of a change except for softer and very slightly firmer skin.
Above is a close up of my forehead after two and a half weeks of use. I took a picture of this because this is where I noticed the biggest difference. My fine lines were actually starting to fade! My skin felt and looked smoother, slightly clearer and yes, firmer

This is a pic from the beginning of week 3 in brighter light. There is a very noticeable difference. I still do have acne on my cheeks. It is a little hard to see my scars on my cheeks here, but they are still there. I didn't expect this serum to clear up my acne entirely. It did make the fine lines on my forehead show so much less, as well as the bags under my eyes. My skin is still smoother, less oily, and firm.
I am almost out of the product, which makes me a little sad, and with the price tag of $25, I may have to wait a while before I can buy one. Don't let the price scare you away. I have heard of many people using way more expensive products, that not only have a ton of chemicals, but also didn't have great results. I am just happy that there is a noticeable change in my skin.
I like that the product felt nice and cool each time I used it, I liked the packaging, customer service, shipping, and results. Yes, I recommend that you should try this if you are looking for a more natural alternative to keeping your skin youthful and firm!
