I met my husband 9 years ago. He introduced me to the world of traveling. I had never really left my city that often until we started dating. Now, we try and take road trips and trips on a plane a few times a year with our kids.  I love it so much. I definitely caught the travel bug! I'd love to travel to so many places that we've never been to. I think as the kids get older, we'll start going to new places.  This set of products that I'm about to show you is something good to have during those trips. First, let me talk about the very unique neck pillow. It is the grey material in the picture above.  When I first saw it wrapped up in its packaging, I wasn't really sure what to expect. I've used those U-shaped neck pillows and inflatable travel pillows before, but nothing like this. It's actually really neat, because it wraps around your neck like a scarf. It closes securely with velcro. Inside, there are plastic supports for your neck.

I'm a bit of a neat freak. I'm sure that I've mentioned it before.  One of my biggest pet peeves is a dirty car. OMG. It drives me so crazy, sitting in a car full of trash. I try to clean the car as often as possible. Guess what? I even have a travel trash bag inside of it now. This is by BigAnt. It's not very big, it's about 9 x 10 inches, but it's really nice to have in the car. You can fit a regular plastic grocery bag or small trash bag inside. There is an opening along the top or you can always just leave the top open.  There is an adjustable strap to wrap around a head rest or wherever you want to attach it and it'll stay put in there.  The bag has a mesh pocket on either side, as well as a pocket in the front, for storing extra bags, bottles, or whatever you want to put in there.  The bag is also waterproof! Besides writing and singing, reading has always been one of my favorite things in the whole wide world. I learned how to read at a young age and would read so many books, every single day .  I still read several books a month, by the way. I love being able to escape from reality, even if it's just for a little while.  To me, reading is a very important thing to teach your children how to do. They're never too young in my opinion. I started reading to both my kids when they were still inside of my tummy. My son was reading books out loud, on his own, by the age of 3. My 2 year old daughter is following right in his footsteps. I try and read with her several days a week, and she absolutely loves it. My son likes to read to her as well. The latest product that I received is this 4-in-1 SD card reader. The name says it all.  You can connect it to your phone, tablet, or computer. It can be used to view, edit, or transfer files from your SD card or micro SD card, by inserting it along the bottom.  As you can see, it is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. This is so convenient. You can stick it in your pocket, bag, or attach a key ring to the little loop.  I like that it has covers for each side for when you are not using it. You wouldn't want to damage any of the connectors, so this helps a lot.  The connectors include a USB connector for computer or some tablets, a lightning connector for certain apple devices, and a type C connector which is used for a lot of newer phones and devices. When your infant or baby eats, things can definitely get messy. Am I right? Even for the ones that become pros quickly, a mess will eventually happen, okay? It's nice to have a plate that is meant to stay in place like this super cute one below And it's a bear!!!!!  Other great things about this particular product? Well, it's BPA free, lead free, PVC free, and made from food grade silicone. It is both dishwasher and microwave safe. I love how easy it is to be cleaned because my daughter has been using this plate over and over and over. You can use the big area for the main meal and then the tiny little ears for sauces, snacks, etc. If not for food, you can use it for finger painting!!! Use it for educational activities, counting, sorting objects in it, etc. Any way that you decide to use it is up to you.  Also, if they do actually end up dropping this plate, it's not going to break or tear. It should last a very long time. 

As you all know, I cook a ton of food every single day. There are almost always leftovers, not because we don't enjoy the food, but more because I just make a lot. I do have tupperware containers but I only have so many. These new bags that I just received are a nice addition, as well as a money saver. These are E-Z Seal Reusable Storage Bags. I know. Most of us hear the word laundry and cringe.  I have a small family of four- two parents, two children, but we go through  a lot   of laundry. Sometimes it seems neverending. I'll finally fold several loads of clean laundry only to turn around and be greeted by a new dirty pile. Seriously, how does that even happen?? Many of you already know that I've been working on a music project with my husband and our friend. Well, we finally were able to get our first official recording done. My husband and friend worked on the instrumentals while I did the vocals. I'm so excited! This is an old song. It used to be one of my favorites. It's Silhouettes by the band, Smile Empty Soul. I sing pretty much everyday. I've been doing it for years, secretly, but ever since I joined this karaoke singing app by Smule, I've been doing it way more often than before.  The one thing you really need in order to use that app correctly and really enjoy yourself, is a good pair of earphones. I was using some really nice iPhone ones before this, but I had them for years and well, they finally stopped working right. No matter. These Imilitus headphones surprised me with how well they work in comparison. The sound quality, both input and output, surpasses my expectations. You don't expect that sort of thing with too many headphones that aren't super expensive. At least, that's been my experience.  These have a very strong, durable cord, that is long enough for me to put my phone or tablet quite a distance away from me.
