Tag Your It! My Top Ten Books That Have Stuck With Me

You all know how much I love to read, right? Well if you didn't know. I'm OBSESSED.
I really am.
I literally read every day. I can't help it. I LOVE books so much. Always have, and always will.
I love books so much that I even co-wrote one with my husband.

So, I was tagged recently and I'm supposed to list my top 10 books that have stuck with me, so here they are and yes, most of them are horror or paranormal. And no, they are not in any particular order.

1. The Omen by David Seltzer--uniquely creepy and disturbing. Love, love, love this book.

2. Seed by Ania Ahlborn--also creeped me out. Another great book about a possessed kid but with a tiny twist

3. I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan--this story is just plain cool and original. Really, really liked it.

4. Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe--had to read this in college. Was VERY unlike what I traditionally read but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.

5. Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause--read this way before Twilight came out. I love me some vampires and werewolves :)

6. Mother, Mother by Koren Zailckas--Psychological thriller that I just finished this the day before yesterday. Disturbing. Think Carrie's mom, plus a bit of Norman Bates from Psycho...Great book

7. Remember Me by Christopher Pike--read when I was a teen as well as several other Christopher Pike books. Pretty good plot

8. The Shining by Stephen King--better than the movie. A little scary, and worked it's way into my nightmares...

9. Several books by John Saul. He's a good writer. Books are twisted, but good. Can't pick just one.

10. When A Darkness Falls by Paul Zindel--Psychopath, murder, blood. Gross. One of the first psychological thrillers?/horror books that I read that stayed in my head.

There's actually several more books that really did stick with me, but I was only asked to list ten, so here they are.
I'm sure more will get added on, since I told you, I read every day. In fact, that's what I'm off to do right now :)

8 Packing Hacks When Moving

Moving is almost rarely enjoyable. I mean, you have to pack up all your stuff just to unpack it again somewhere else? You eat off of paper plates with plastic utensils for your last week because you know your kitchen takes the most to pack.
