While searching for fun, educational, and safe sites for both my kids and I to enjoy online, I stumbled upon a site called Culinary Schools. The site offers a comprehensive collection of resources for aspiring chefs, featuring information on culinary school degrees, career paths, and even a section dedicated to fun and games, along with much more to discover. With its diverse range of games, the site not only entertains but also educates, making it a valuable resource for culinary students and food lovers alike.
One of the features on this site that stands out the most is the variety of calculators that are available. There's an ingredient conversion calculator that you can manually enter the amounts for your recipe, or you could print a cooking conversion chart. Additionally, there is a helpful tipping calculator, and the page provides some amazing insights into the history of tipping and tipping practices around the world. There are a few health calculators as well, including one for body fat, one for working out, and one for weight loss goals.
My favorite aspect of the site is the games section, which offers a wealth of options for all ages. While I haven’t had the chance to play every game, I’d like to share a few of my personal favorites.
I really like playing interactive story games, particularly romantic ones, and this one is cute. It is a choose your own adventure game. The storyline is about a young woman is trying to pursue her dreams of becoming a chef in New York, and she ends up finding a bit of love as well. I kind of became a bit invested in what was going to happen next.
This game was so addicting. You have to position the cursor so that the matching tiny monster heads fall and merge together to form another type of monster. It is really fun and I found myself playing over and over, just to see what the next merged head was going to look like. So many adorably spooky characters and creepy music!
Do you remember the game, Guess Who? I used to play it often as a child. Well this game is very similar, except it uses more modern characters. I like these characters a bit more than the ones I remember from my childhood. There's quite a number of other familiar board games, and also card games to play.
Final Thoughts
I've explored many of the other games available, but I can’t list them all. As I mentioned earlier, there is an extensive selection, making it impossible to play them all in a single day. This impressive variety caters to all ages, skill levels, and interests. While they may seem purely entertaining, these games also offer valuable opportunities to develop time management skills, problem-solving abilities, and engage in work simulations, management scenarios, recipe creation, and more—reflecting the site’s culinary career theme.
Culinaryschools.org is very simple to navigate through. I appreciate that this site is free from excessive distractions and inappropriate advertisements, and it allows users to play the games without requiring any downloads. This sets it apart from many other gaming sites where users often have to close numerous ads or download an app to access the content. So, if you’re ready to whip up some fun while enhancing your culinary prowess, head over to CulinarySchools.org and explore the delicious world of culinary games. Happy cooking!
