This is the type of style that I wear the most often. I love this kind of shapewear. It has three sets of hook closures to adjust to your size. The more you wear it and stay active in it, the tighter you'll eventually be able to get it. It will help give your body more of an hourglass shape, which many women desire, and I personally feel that these also help your posture. I feel as though I stand up straighter and the back and abs get great support when you work out in it. 

I like that you can wear this style under tank tops, spaghetti straps, summer dresses, under and over shirts. It can be concealed better than one that has shoulder straps and make you look tight and toned underneath your clothing.

Yes, you can wear this sort of waist trainer for several hours a day, whether you're working out, going out, or just at home. 

Another popular style that I've seen people wear, is the waist trainer vest. These are very nice as well. I have also worn this style in the past, but wear the other style a lot more.

These, in my opinion, seem to offer more support than the ones without shoulder straps. These are great for wearing under tshirts, long or short sleeves, button downs, and more. I wouldn't really recommend these under spaghetti straps type shirts and dresses, since the back of these are usually pretty high.  Yes, you can also wear this style in and out of the gym, while running errands, etc.

Now, I have tried something slightly similar in the past, but this one looks a lot nicer. It has a very cool design--I love the side hooks instead of them being in the middle. I also like the lace at the bottom. This style of waist trainer provides even more compression not only in the waist section, but also in the thighs and butt area. This would be great for making your body shape look more trim in a long dress, pant suits, and maybe even jeans. Who wouldn't want that?
