My husband doesn't have a really long beard. He has a cute little one but sometimes it can still get slightly unruly. He had never tried beard oil before but he was willing to try this one. 
I opened it first to smell it and was happy to know that it smelled kind of woodsy and manly. It makes me think of something a hunter or a lumberjack would smell like :). I was looking forward to my husband using it.
When he finally did, he came up to me to kiss me and he smelled so good. I kept wanting to be near him just so I could smell him. Not only did he smell good, his beard felt softer and nicer against my skin. I like that because at times his beard can be pretty rough. It has some really good oils that I'm familiar with because I actually use in my hair. 
This is definitely something that I will be getting for him in the future. I think it would be a nice gift for a Father's Day, birthday, or other holiday gift as an add on. It's a decent sized bottle which is a really pretty blue glass.
