I have always wanted to own a baby wrap. When I was pregnant, I did a lot of research and asked a lot of moms what kind of wrap they liked the best and most of them said the cloth wrap ones, like this.
I couldn't wait to try this one out with my baby.
There are so many benefits from wrapping your baby. They will be soothed, warm, and develop a deeper bond with you, being so close to your body. For preemies and newborns, it will be similar to a womb-like environment.
Happy baby, happy mommy.
I had my baby a few weeks early, and she is really tiny. I wasn't sure if I would be able to safely put her in the wrap without literally losing her inside. Yes, she is just that small.
What I did was practice how to put this on and take it off several times, with and without a doll before even attempting to place her inside. I also watched a ton of youtube videos on how to place a preemie safely inside.
After I finally got the hand of it, and it really wasn't too hard to learn, I put her in the wrap. What I have been doing is a bit different than the traditional face against chest hold. She is positioned more sideways, the way you would cradle a baby on their side. She fits in there just fine and falls asleep fairly quickly when placed there. I love that I can walk around the house with her safely and securely against my chest.
The material is nice and soft and I love that I can put it in the washer to clean and then reuse again. This is a very nice product and yes highly recommended. The price advertised is also a lot less expensive than many other similar wraps. I would love to own a few of these in different colors.
I also like the little storage bag that it comes with. You can simply roll up the wrap, stick it in the bag, and take wherever you go.
