I take at least two showers a day-one in the morning and one in the evening. I added an AVA Shower Filter onto my showerhead a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised at the effects a simple filter to have on my hair and skin.

I like to install things, so I took it upon myself to install this shower filter on my own, while my husband was at work. It honestly wasn't very hard to do.

I installed it and was excited to see how it would work. I didn't know how different it would be from my regular showers but I was still looking forward to seeing if I noticed any difference.

I showered later that night and of course didn't notice anything right away. What would cleaner, pH balanced, fluoride free water feel like?

Anyway, I thought it would be silly to notice a difference.

However,

after spending a couple of weeks in the hospital, using the shower in my hospital bathroom, I immediately did notice a difference. My hair looked like a mess compared to the way it looked at home. No joke. My skin didn't feel the same either. It's really hard for me to explain, but I surely did notice a difference after all.

So weird, but, apparently filtering the water with this device is not such a bad idea. It made me appreciate my shower at home so much more. In fact, I couldn't wait to get home to hop in my tub.

Yes, my hair and my skin have a noticeable difference. I love my shower filter.
