Company's Product Description
- The fractionated coconut carrier and massage oil by GoPure creates a barrier on your skin, but does not clog your pores. Provides a light-weight and non-greasy finish. It is composed of 100 percent natural Carrier Oil or pure base.
- The shelf life, with proper storage conditions is indefinite. The product needs to be stored in a cool location, out of the direct sunlight.
- Ideal product for massage therapy due to the ability for the oil to remain in liquid form provided by the fractionating process.
Now that I've reached my third trimester of pregnancy, I get really sore areas on my body. My legs and back are the main ones. I love when my husband uses this fractionated coconut oil to massage the pain away.He rubs a bit in his hands till it's warm and then massages away. It's not very greasy, nor sticky, nor does it have a strong annoying scent. It smells like nothing and also doesn't leave any permanent stains if any should get on my sheets when I'm getting massaged.
This is also a very good, high quality oil that can be combined with various essential oils since it is a carrier oil. I've used it with lavender and with peppermint oil during massages as well and it helps to dilute the concentration of the essential oils. This is good since sometimes essential oils can be a bit strong when used by themselves. I personally think it also just makes it easier to apply and stay on your skin to be better absorbed.
The bottle is large and since you only need to use a little bit at a time, I can see this bottle lasting for quite a while. Since it is fractionated, I also don't have to worry about the oil getting spoiled.
It can be used to moisturize dry skin, on dry or brittle hair and nails, and also as a lubricant.
