I can always use an extra light in the house. Our house is pretty big. I hate that a lot of the bulbs that we purchase, however, tend to burn out too quickly or lose their brightness after a while. Annoying.
I was given the opportunity to try out an LED dimmable bulb and now wish I had a couple for every room in the house.

I love this light bulb. It reaches it's full brightness as soon as you turn it on, unlike some other bulbs that I've tried that take a while to get there.
It doesn't buzz or make any weird sounds like some other bulbs either. I like that. 
It is very light weight too.
I find that it works great in both my regular lamps and the dimmer lamp over my bed as well. (I LOVE dimmers by the way. So nice to be able to set your desired amount of light, especially when it's in your own bedroom.)

This light bulb gives off a really nice warm glow. It's bright enough to light up the whole room. The pic above is of the light when it's placed in the lamp that's in my t.v. room upstairs.

I'd have to say that my favorite thing about this particular light bulb is the fact that it is more energy efficient and guaranteed to be longer lasting than many other so called "energy efficient" bulbs.
