Now that I'm pregnant, I've been trying to be as careful as possible. I especially try to be careful in the shower since the tub can get slippery. I have been using an Epica Bath Mat to help prevent any falls.
- This mat helps minimize the risk of slips and falls while preventing the growth of bacteria and build-up of soap residues
- Heavy duty, latex free rubber
- Resistant to wear and tear
- Safe for people with a latex allergy
- Excellent grip on top and bottom
- The upper side of the mat is textured, giving your feet extra traction power.
- Mat adheres firmly to the floor of a tub or shower stall and will not shift or slide when you step on or off and will work whether or not floor has a nonstick surface
- Inhibits soap and bacteria deposits
- The entire mat is treated with an anti-bacterial agent to keep disease-causing microbes out of your bath
- 16" x 28" in size
I've owned a couple of bath mats in the past, but not all of them were latex free, nor were all of them anti-bacterial treated.
I like that this one is both of those things.
It feels thicker than the others and stays in place pretty well, thanks to the many suction cups on the bottom side of the mat.
This is what the mat looks like in my tub. It is the perfect size and covers most of my tub. The color and quality of the mat are great too. I also love how simple it is to clean this mat up. The design/traction on the top of the mat make it easy to walk around in the tub or shower without slipping, which is good.
I also like that this makes the tub safer for my son's little clumsy feet as well.
