My six year old son really likes birds. All kinds of birds, actually. When I was given the chance to review a Wild Republic Audubon Bird to review, I couldn't wait to give it to him. I received the Robin.

Isn't the bird just adorable? I think he's the cutest. My son was so happy to receive this bird. He likes to cycle through his toys, and this Robin is currently the main toy that he carries around with him. He brings him down to the table to "eat" with us, in the car, to the t.v. room, and he even likes to sleep with it on his bed. He just calls him Robin.
The bird makes a bird call when you press a button on his back.
Does it sound authentic, as described? I would say so. My son loves the sound. I'm happy that it's not extremely loud, but just loud enough for him to enjoy.
I like that the tag that comes on it is filled with all kinds of facts about the bird. You can't see it in the picture, because unfortunately, my son pulled it off accidentally. However, he did read it quite a few times and memorized a lot of what he read. He has brought some of the facts up, randomly. I love toys that teach.
The entire design and colors of the bird are nice and the size is perfect. I think that this really is a great gift for kids or even for people who are into bird watching or just like birds in general.
