This is what the scale looks like when it's turned on. It's best to always place on a hard floor, no carpeting, so that it is on a flat and even surface. It's not lightweight, but most digital scales tend not to be.
It is bright black and silver, very sleek looking.
The LCD screen is not huge, but very easy to read.
This scale runs off of two tiny little round batteries. I was actually surprised at this since most scales that I've ever owned run off on way larger batteries.
These are all of the buttons that you can press near the top. You can set your user profile up so that it will always know when it is you on the scale. Very cool function. All you have to do is just stand on it, and it will automatically detect which user you are. Can be used by 8 different people.
This is what each of the four legs on the bottom of the scale looks like. They are small, but keep the scale perfectly steady, on a hard surface.
This is a nice digital scale to own. My husband and my sister have been using this one. I have not, only because I'm pregnant and most of the BMI scales that I have owned clearly state that such a device should not be used by pregnant people, nor people with pacemakers. Don't know exactly how dangerous it can be, but I'd rather not take the risk.
Other than that, both my husband and sister agree that this scale is really nice and measures weight accurately. They both like the User Recognition function and all of the other features as well. My sister's only complaint is how heavy it is. She likes lighter, more portable scales. My husband says the weight is fine.
We keep ours stored in the bathroom just in case anyone wants to use it. Easy to slip underneath our bathroom shelf case. We can just slide it out any time anyone wants to use it. That's pretty convenient.
