I've complained about sleep issues before, but now that I'm pregnant, the sleep issues have increased quite a bit. Now, I know it's a pretty common thing during pregnancy, but I still try to find anything that can help me get at least a little more sleep and comfort.
I've tried quite a few varieties of sleep masks and the latest one that I've had the opportunity to use is the Nidra Deep Rest Mask.

This is what the sleep mask looks like in the front. It is a little funny looking, but it's funny shape is what makes it more unique than most sleep masks. As stated in the description, it has a curved design that keeps the material lifted and away from your eyes. This is great because if you need to take a quick nap when you are travelling and you have makeup on, well, then it will keep the mask from smearing everything and making you look like a mess!
I really like that since, every now and then, I do need a catnap throughout the day.
No, I do not want to have to worry about smearing all my eye makeup!
I tried it with makeup on and it really works well.
This is the back of the mask. There is an elastic velcro strap that you can adjust to the size of your own head. It feels nice and comfortable against your head, unlike many other sleep masks that fit too snugly.
I can wear it on my face and it doesn't bother me when I sleep.
Can it solve all of my sleep issues? Of course not! However, it does help, as I mentioned before, about my catnaps during the day, and it does also help sometimes when I'm trying to block out the light in the room at night. Sometimes my husband likes to read or watch t.v. late at night, so the mask is perfect for blocking the brightness out! That is something at least, right?
