If your walls could literally talk, what would they say? Have you ever tried using wall quotes or decals? I've seen them in various business and a few houses and always wanted to find some that would match some of the rooms in my house. I hadn't really found any that I really liked until I received one that says, "Always Kiss Me Goodnight".

This is what my wall looked like before applying the large wall decal. I thought this would be the perfect place to put it, over my bed, in my room. I've always wanted to hang a picture or decorate this area in some way since it was so plain and boring before.
The wall decal came like this in the package, along with a hard plastic card to apply it to the wall with.
Yes, it says, Always Kiss Me Goodnight, which is also the perfect quote to place right above our bed. This way my husband can see it every night, haha, and do as it says. I think it's really sweet, and cute!
I have a textured wall, by the way, so I was hoping that the decal would still be able to adhere to it without much trouble.
The best thing to do at first, of course, was to figure out where I wanted to put it on the wall. (I'm not going to lie--I have had OCD since I was really young and like things to be right in the center or in some sort of particular order.) You better believe that I had to keep moving this onto the wall to get it as even as possible. Luckily, my husband was standing across the room, letting me know if it needed to be moved over.
Using scotch tape was actually better than the clear tape I was using in the beginning. This held it up, wherever I moved it to.
After what seemed like forever, thanks to my OCD, I found the perfect spot.
Then I removed the backing and slid the hard plastic card over the wall decal, a bit roughly, to make sure that it would attach to the textured wall and crevices.
I'm going to be really honest about this---removing the decal from the sheet of paper was not as easy as I had hoped. The letters, surprisingly, are not connected. They are beside each other, but not actually attached. This ended up being a little tough for me toward the end. I managed to get all of the letters on the wall just fine, from right to left, until I reached the E in "ME". I ripped it at the tip, but with a little bit of work, I reattached it and even when looking up close, you can't tell that it is ripped.
My husband and I actually really like the way that it came out. It definitely made the wall and our bedroom look less boring. I love the way it looks at night when the dimmer lights are on. It's a little romantic...
We're very happy with it and would love to add even more words and designs to our other walls.
Do you like this wall decal as well?
