As a parent who home schools, of course I like to try out new programs with my son. Especially if they were created to help him learn something new or how to improve on something he already knows.
I was very enthusiastic about trying the Red Apple Reading Program with him to see what it could do for him.

My Thoughts

My six year old son and I can both agree that this program is so great. Why? Because he actually wanted to play everyday and enjoyed it so much. And remember--these are all learning games. The best thing about this program is that he can do a ton of lessons on his grade level and then progress to the next, which he did. There are so many activities that he is able to play and he definitely has learned a ton. The main thing that I've noticed is that his spelling has improved dramatically since using this program regularly. I'm thrilled that he has gotten as far as he has in the program and he wants to continue until he finishes as many levels as he can before the trial is over.
Got a child who is struggling reading or spelling? Need help teaching your kids new vocabulary words? Well, then I truly believe that this program will be extremely beneficial to your child. Perfect if you home school and perfect if you don't. A lot of fun and very educational.
