Raise your hand if you suffer from dry, chapped, peeling lips!
Ouch, I know.
I do. Mostly during the fall and winter, but occasionally at other times during the year.
It's not fun. It's awful. I hate it.
I usually use ChapStick lip balm on my lips but for the first time ever I was given the opportunity to try the NEW ChapStick Hydration Lock lip balm.
Company's Product Description
It's dual-ended and looks a bit different from the traditional old ChapStick.
One side says Renew and the other says Moisturize.
The Renew side has natural butters, which include mango and shea. These help condition and instantly smooth your lips.
The Moisturize side helps you get smoother, fuller, and younger looking lips and contains CoQ10 and hyaluronic filling spheres.
Both have advanced anti-aging formulas.
My Thoughts
I immediately tried the moisturize side since my lips were in dire need of some moisturizing the day that the product arrived in the mail. It had a nice taste to it, not medicinal or gross like many other lip balms. It did make my lips feel instantly smoother. I liked that A LOT.
Later during the day I tried the renew side which tasted good too and smoothed my lips too.
Did I see a huge difference in the two sides?
Honestly, no.
I do like them both very much though because my lips haven't been chapped since I started using the product daily.
It is perfect for this chilly weather.
Another thing that I like is that it's not tinted. I tend to wear lip balm either alone or under lip gloss, so un-tinted is actually pretty great.
Yes, I recommend!
