In case you can't tell by the banner on my blog---my hair is SUPER curly. Not slightly, not a little, but SUPER. Occasionally, I like to change it up and straighten it or use a curling iron to change the curl pattern up a little. When I do, a definite must is to use some sort of heat protectant on it, no exceptions, unless I want to damage my hair. Let me tell you about Thermafuse HeatSmart Serum.

My Thoughts
Cute bottle right? And I love the colors and design. The pump top dispenser is nice too. This product has a really nice scent to it. Sometimes I like to pump a little bit of this oil on my hair, even when not straightening it or styling it.
However, when I do straighten it, sadly, the awesome scent does not last! :(
I wish it did, but it doesn't, at least not on my own hair.
Now, is this a deal breaker? NO. Why?
Because although the scent does not linger on my hair, it does help protect my hair. I haven't seen any dry areas or breakage as a result of using this product. What I have seen is very smooth, less frizzy locks that look really nice after straightening. I hate using heat products that make my hair look worse after using. Not this product! It really does leave a nice sheen on my locks and keeps each little hair in place. I do love that. I think that this is due to the fact that this is an oil based product. Have I mentioned how much my curls love oil products??? They do.
I so wish that the scent would stay, but no biggie!
Yes, I recommend if you want your hair to look nicely styled when using heat styling products.
