Beauty by Earth Konjac Sponges and Lip Balm Review and Giveaway! Ends 10/28/14!


I want my face as clean and exfoliated as possible. Konjac sponges are one of my latest favorites ways of doing this.

 My Thoughts

I've become a huge fan of Konjac sponges over the last few months. Have you tried one before??? It's like a tiny super soft loofah that gets your face incredibly clean!
This particular one comes in a set of two--one with bamboo charcoal and one without.
I'd only used ones with bamboo charcoal in them so it was nice to use one without for the first time. From my very own experience, I have learned that the bamboo charcoal one works great if you have problematic skin--acne, blemishes, etc. 
The sponge appears hard before the first use, but all you have to do is soak it in warm water for a little while and then it becomes really soft and gets slightly bigger. It has a little thread that it can be hung from as well.
Anyway, the best part about konjac sponges is that if you already normally use some sort of soap or cleanser, you don't have to use as much because the sponge makes the lather more ummm lathery. Does that make sense? You get more bubbles and more lather. I've used both of these sponges and they both exfoliate and seriously deeply cleanse my skin and pores, but don't feel the slightest bit harsh on my skin. In fact, when the sponges are wet, they feel really soft and gentle.
Also, it's best to hang these out of the shower so that they dry better. Then, if they harden up again, all you have to do is soak them in warm water again until they soften up once more.
Cleaning them is a breeze. A little bit of boiling water will do the trick! Then just let them dry up and repeat the process of soaking them when ready to be used.



I have also been using the Peppermint Lip Balm by Beauty by Earth. I LOVE lip balms, especially now that the weather is starting to get cool. I was happy when I read that this one was peppermint flavor. I used it on my lips and it felt cool and soothing, especially one day when my lips just so happened to be pretty chapped. I hate chapped lips. This product is very nice and very much great to own. I love the feeling and I love the taste too. My husband kissed me and said he loves the taste too. By the way, it's also nice because it clings to my lips and stays there for a long time. Not all lip balms are like that.
