My Thoughts

I already knew my little boy was going to want to read this book since his ultimate obsession is penguins. He has a penguin pillow, a lego penguin, several penguin toys, a penguin hat, and more. He talks about penguins every single day!
He made me smile when I showed him the book. The look on his face was priceless and then he did a cute little dance. Yes, my son was actually that excited to read a book about penguins. I'm so serious.
This book has real pictures which is great. It has so much really good information. I didn't know quite a bit of the information that is found inside of this book. For instance, did you know that "When penguin chicks hatch they do not have a waterproof covering so they cannot go into the ocean" ? I had no idea! They also "do not fear human contact"! Very interesting, I think!

Anyway,
My son says this is now one of his favorite books. I'm happy to hear that since it is an educational book and not something filled with violence or anything inappropriate. That means a lot to me.
