I don't know about you, but my phone dies a lot when I'm out and about.
Yes, I know, it's probably because I'm on it all the time, reading on my Kindle app, texting, talking, surfing the web, watching Netflix, and so on...
I don't like carrying my wall charger with me all of the time and I don't like to rely on a car charger, since I'm not only in a car.
I was extremely anticipating the arrival of my PBS Battery Charger that was sent to me to review.
My Thoughts
The great things about this charger:
-Looks cool
-Smaller than my actual phone and portable
-Has multiple ports to charge iPhone, iPod, phone, some digital cameras and tablets
-Easy to use
-Charges my phone completely, about 3-4 times before I have to recharge the battery pack again
-Charges fairly quickly and doesn't get too hot
The things about this charger that could use some improvement:
-Although smaller than my phone, it could afford to be smaller and lighter
-The way that the cord is designed is awkward, especially when charging on your computer's USB port. It doesn't lay flat and kind of twists around. Worries me that this may make it more susceptible to tearing or breaking
Altogether, I do like this charger. It works perfectly on multiple devices. I have charged my phone, iPod, and my son's tablet just fine. I love that I can get a few charges out before having to plug it into my computer and charge it again.
I love that as long as this is charged, it is an excellent product to have with me when on trips, when out on errands, in case of a power outage, and so on. I just wish that the cord was made a little differently.
You can purchase a PBS External Battery Charger on Amazon.
