My Thoughts
This coconut oil came in a big plastic jar/tub (as shown in the picture above). It was a really good amount. I say this because I've been using it practically everyday and still have some left. I've used it in smoothies, oatmeal, for sauteeing veggies, and on eggs. It has a very light coconut taste that I like. It's great for cooking and is very healthy.
I've read so much about how great it is for your teeth and oral health. I've used it mixed with baking soda to clean my teeth and I've also used a little as a mouthwash--you just swish a bit in your mouth for a few minutes and spit out. I like the way it leaves my mouth feeling.
My all time favorite thing to do with my coconut oil is to mix it in with my weekly hair masks. I just add a little bit to the rest of my mixture (honey, shea butter, olive oil, and a little conditioner) and let it sit on my hair for about an hour. This is a great hair mask that helps repair my hair and make it look nice, especially after having my hair straightened. It helps make my curls look bouncy, shiny, and restored.
Absolutely in love with this product and the fact that it can be used in so, so many things!
I love that it is organic and natural. Always looking for this sort of thing to add into my lifestyle.
The only thing that I wish was different is that I kind of wish it came in a jar with a dropper or something like what a lot of cooking oils come in, something to make it easier to dispense. I have been using a little coffee scoop, but it's still a little messy. Other than that, the product is wonderful.
