My Thoughts
Aloe Vera & Honey Cleansing Milk ($26.99)
-For normal to dry skin
-100% Organic makeup remover and skin cleanser
-Deeply penetrates the skin to remove dirt and makeup
-Unclogs pores, protects and moisturizes skin
This product comes in an attractive looking, tall bottle. It has a pump top, making it easy to dispense onto a cotton ball or konjac sponge. It has a nice very light scent.
Okay, so I wear makeup practically every single day. I definitely need a product that can remove all traces of makeup and dirt from my face. This product isn't very greasy and not at all sticky. It does make it a lot easier for me to remove my makeup and get my face really clean, but I have to use a few pumps for this. It leaves my face feeling clean and yes moisturized.
I also like that this cleansing milk contains SPF 11, aloe vera gel, spring water, and honey, all of which are good for your skin.
Nice product!
-For a healthier and toned look
-Works as an astringent to tighten up over-relaxed skin tissue helping to breakdown toxins in the body
-Promotes circulation
-Blend of grapefruit, juniper, avocado, and rosemary oil
-Stimulates the metabolism and encourages the body to detox and release fluids
-Enhances cell renewal and repair
-Hydrates and soften skin
This product also came in a tall, attractive bottle with a pump top.
I could not wait to try this product since I have always wanted to tone up my mid section. You see, I'm somewhat thin, but not as toned as I would like to be. The ingredients in this product are known to help you release water retention which I knew that I could definitely benefit from, as well as the fact that this gel is supposed to help detox my body.
The first week I used it, twice a day, and didn't notice a huge amount of tightening, although it did leave my skin feeling VERY moisturized and smelled good too.
The next week I decided to step it up a little bit. I had an idea and wanted to see if it would help with this product. I thought about those skinny wraps that use the plastic wraps over gel to tighten up trouble areas on the body and figured I could do something similar. For a few weeks, I would apply the slimming gel twice a day but I would wear my waist trimming belt (the exercise kind that you wear made of neoprene) over the gel. What I noticed very quickly, only after a few days of doing this, was that my skin seriously was looking a bit tighter! I was really happy about that! So, not only was my skin looking and feeling moisturized, but also firmer. Now, of course, it didn't make all of my extra flab go away, but there was a difference that I could see.
I would LOVE to see how much tighter my stomach will look after another few weeks of using this. I've only been using it for 3 weeks but I like what I'm seeing.
I love that this product uses natural oils and spring water.
Both of these products are pretty good, my favorite of the two, of course, being the slimming gel. I absolutely love the fact that they both use natural, organic ingredients, and I love that neither product caused any irritation or discomfort to my skin. Both smell just fine, and are very easy to apply. I am really interested in trying future products from Herbline Essentials.
