Where is My Home? By Tali Carmi Book Review

My son really wanted to read yet another book in the Terry Treetop Series--- Where is My home, since he's read a few of the others.

Title: Where is My Home?
Author: Tali Carmi
Genre: Children's Fiction

Terry Treetop books: Adventure & Education series for ages 3 - 8 (Animal Habitats)

This fun children's picture book is about a boy with red hair and freckles named Terry, yet everybody calls him Terry Treetop because he loves climbing trees.

Terry is chasing a beautiful butterfly and wants to go back home.

But where is Terry's home?
And how can he find his way home?
Does the rabbit in the borrow know?
Does the beaver in the lodge know?
Maybe the fawn's mother knows?
Or can Susanne the squirrel help him?

My Thoughts
I think that every book that my son and I have read in the Terry Treetop Series are so cute. They are extremely kid friendly, with absolutely no violence in them (unlike some other kid's books).
This particular book teaches children a little bit about being friendly, and about different animal habitats and what they eat. Terry Treetop is a sweet little boy who always goes on little adventures and makes friends every where he goes.
The book is colorful and full of adorable illustrations. It is a very easy read for beginning readers and very entertaining for young children, especially those of preschool/kindergarten age.
My son reads through these books fairly quickly since he is at a very advanced reading level. However, he still likes to read this series because he says they're a lot of fun and that he would love to climb trees and have a tree house like Terry Treetop. He also loves that Terry talks to animals and is an animal lover, like himself.
Recommended for parents, grandparents, babysitters and older siblings to read to the younger children in their lives.
