DermOrganic Skin Care & Try Me Sampler Review

Over the past few months I have been trying to swap out several of the regular skin care products that I use for more organic, more chemical-free products. I think that this is beyond important since I care about my body and my health.

Some of the latest products that I was sent for reviewing purposes were from DermOrganic.

They sent me A Try-Me Sampler and a Skin Care Sampler

My Thoughts

SkinCare Sampler

Soapless Facial Cleanser- (Purifies, Clarifies, and Moisturizes)

I like the soapless facial cleanser a lot, especially because it's a soap free and gentle formula. It doesn't dry my skin out and it also makes it a lot easier to remove the makeup off of my face. It keeps my face moisturized unlike some other facial cleansers that I've used in the past. It's rich in a few vitamins and BotaniCollagen and Yuzu Fruit Extract which is great for your skin. It doesn't smell like anything either.

I like to use it on my konjac face loofah and I feel like it really gets my face nice and clean.

Facial Moisturizer- (Sheer formula absorbs quickly)

I think that this is a great moisturizer. It's not too thick, not greasy, and is very easily absorbed into my skin. It also has Yuzu Fruit Extract and BotaniCollagen and is rich in lipids and vitamins like the cleanser. I feel that it keeps my entire face moisturized and soft all day, which makes me really happy. And yes, like the cleanser, this one is free from any scent.

Hand and Body Moisture Lotion- (Softens, Hydrates, and Protects)

I love to keep a bottle of lotion nearby because my hands, arms, and legs tend to get pretty dry every now and then. This lotion is perfect because it isn't too greasy. It feels like it is absorbed into my skin very fast, and doesn't just sit on top of my skin, like some other lotions. I feel like it penetrates my skin, keeping it moisturized for hours. This is a major plus for me. This lotion, like the other two, is also rich in vitamins and lipids, and infused with both Yuzu fruit extract and BotaniCollagen.

All three of the products that I received were made with Argan Extract of Morocco. From my own experience with Argan extract/oil, it really does work wonders for skin, hair, and nails.

Try-Me Sampler

Daily Conditioning Shampoo- (Sulfate-free and Color safe/Made with skin cleansers)

If you've read my other posts, then you know that I am picky with the shampoos that I use in my hair. Most shampoos dry them out or make them feel icky and gross. I did want to try this one since it is both sulfate-free and color safe. Sulfates are not so great on hair...I also like that this shampoo is made w/ skin cleansers, so it is good on my scalp. It's color safe, which is nice since I do color my hair. 

It lathers up well and smells good. It didn't dry my hair out, nor did it make it feel gross. Instead, like the names says, it did seem to "condition" my hair. Excellent.

Intensive Hair Repair Masque- (Enriched with rice-keratin/Fortifies and repairs, improves elasticity)

I adore hair masques. I do them at least once a week to keep my curls looking their nicest. I've read good things about rice keratin so I was wondering how it would affect my hair. 

I left this masque in my hair for about 10-15 minutes before rinsing out with cool water. It smells good and oh my hair felt so soft, very smooth, and tangle free! 

Leave-in Treatment- (Repair, Protect, and Shine)

I love leave-in oil treatments. Oil based treatments are a necessity for my curly hair type. I added some of this oil onto my damp hair and wrapped it up in my Shandali towel. I let it dry in the special micro-fiber towel and when I took the towel off, my curls were super moisturized, shiny, and free from frizz. Wonderful treatment.

All three of these products contain certified Argan Oil of Morocco, which is one of my all time favorite oils to use.

I need to buy these products in the future. All six were amazing. I'm not kidding- I love them.
