My Thoughts on This Product
I love essential oils. There are so many that I would like to try and tea tree essential oil was one I've wanted to try for a long time.
It came in a big dark brown glass bottle to preserve it's life span (doesn't allow much light into the bottle).
I opened it up and sniffed, and wow. Yes, strong medicinal smell. Not totally horrible though, like Neem Oil, just a strong scent.
I like the guide that was included for free because there are so many great "recipes" in it that I would love to try.
I decided to use a few drops of tea tree oil in my weekly hair mask. I normally use a mixture of other oils and honey but this time I followed one of the recipes in the guide, using avocado, tea tree oil, an egg, honey, olive oil, and coconut oil.
This is what it looked like when all blended together:
I applied it to damp hair, wrapped in seran wrap, let it sit for 45 minutes and then washed out. It was a messy process, but in the end, my hair ended up feeling and looking pretty nice. The tea tree oil does tingle a little on my scalp but not more than most anti-dandruff shampoos do.
I also decided to use it on my face since I've heard that it works well for acne. I have old acne scars, yes faded from all the serums I use regularly, but not entirely gone. I decided to lather up some Adovia moisturizing soap on my konjac loofah and then added 2-3 drops of tea tree oil and rubbed it into the lather. Then I gently massaged onto my face and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Do not get this stuff in your eyes or mouth, if you do this! It should not be ingested and might sting your eyes.
Okay, so after I sang and danced a bit in the shower till the 5 minute mark, I rinsed off with cool water.
Oh my gosh--I was really surprised because, yes, thanks to all my vitamin c serum/hyaluronic acid use, my skin has been smooth and soft, but this made it intensely smooth. Even my scars felt smoother. It also just felt nice. I don't know how else to explain it, but let me tell you one thing---I'm going to do this often. I like what I experienced. Perhaps this is the way to finally rid my face of the ugly scars forever?? We shall see...
I love this product. I want to try it in a billion different ways. I want to try it on skin tags, my nails, stretch marks, bug bites, to clean my house, as a detergent, and more!
Oh, I forgot to add, if you do decide to use it on your skin, it is best to use a carrier oil like coconut oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, argan oil, etc to mix with. You can inhale some to relieve a bit of stress too----who doesn't love that?
If you think that this sounds like something that you are dying to try too, you can Buy on Amazon .They have a 110% money back guarantee if you aren't happy with it!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
