I love to bake! I enjoy cooking and baking because it's fun and it helps me clear my mind from stress. I've never tried Silicone cookware before this but have always wanted to. I was sent a free 24 cup mini muffin pan to review.

Tips for caring for your muffin pan: Wash with soapy water or use dishwasher, apply a thin layer of oil to season surface before first use, place on a baking tray for easier handling and removal from oven. NEVER use over direct flame or heat source, do not cut or use sharp objects on pan, do not use abrasive soaps or scouring pads on pan.

My Thoughts on This Muffin Pan

I was so excited to try this muffin pan. I searched all over the internet for a great recipe to try. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to make an appetizer, mini meal, or dessert. I ended up picking a dessert to bake. (It was a recipe I found in Woman's World Magazine. I made Zucchini Banana muffins and added my own additional ingredients to make it a little different! Yummy :) The recipe was for 12 muffins and it spread evenly into all 24 cups. They were just going to be half the size.

I washed and dried my muffin pan before using. I used olive oil to grease each mini cup. You can use cooking spray or liners if you choose to. I preheated the oven. Then, I got my muffin ingredients together and spooned a little bit into each cup.

I lay the muffin pan on top of a flat metal cookie sheet so that it would be easy to take out of the oven.

Finally, I put the the muffins into the oven for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. When the time was up, I checked them with a toothpick to make sure they were done. Then, I iced each muffin while they were still in the pan.

The silicone pan is flexible so they were extremely easy to pop out of each cup. They came out cleanly too. That is excellent. I hate when muffins or cupcakes stick to the pan so I was pretty happy.

Finished product. The muffins were so cute and tiny. I ate a couple and didn't feel awful afterward, like I do when I eat a huge muffin. :) They were such a big hit with my family.

This muffin pan works EXTREMELY well. I am thrilled to use this product again the future. It was also so much easy to clean than the traditional metal pans. I like that I can also stick it in the dishwasher for some additional cleaning. It's a pretty color and there are so many things that I can make in it, from cupcakes, muffins, mini lasagnas, mini meat loafs, and more. Perfect for when you want to watch your serving sizes. I can imagine that it would be great for making appetizers for parties and get togethers. I need more silicone cookware in my life.
