So, I received a package filled with some coupons and a full sized box of Starbucks Veranda Blend Blonde Roast Coffee (K-cups). We own a Keurig and I like coffee from time to time so I was happy to review.

You're probably thinking--BLONDE roast? What does that even mean???? It's supposed to be the most mellow of all the different kinds of roasts... Now, I don't know about you, but I really don't like my coffee to be too strong, so I thought this might be pretty interesting to try.

Me drinking a big cup of coffee!
My Thoughts On This Product:
I drank a big cup of it, expecting it to be really good, because I used to go to Starbucks pretty often and really liked their coffee. Sadly, this one particular coffee will never be my favorite. It's alright, and yes it's a lot more mellow than a lot of coffee out there, but I'm just not too crazy about the flavor. There are a few other blonde roasts they have available though--Aria Blend and Bright Sky Blend. I want to try those to see if maybe they taste better.
The description of the product says that it has "delicate nuances of soft cocoa and lightly toasted nuts." For some reason, I could not seem to taste either of those things in my coffee :( wish I could...They weren't kidding when they said "delicate" and "slightly".
If you like coffee that is not too strongly roasted or that has too much flavor, then this may be the coffee for you. I don't hate it, but I also don't love it. It is something that I would only drink if it was the only coffee left in the house.
I popped one into the Keurig at home while my husband and his parents were home. His parents love using the Keurig and love drinking coffee everyday, so of course I told them all about this coffee. His mom had a cup for herself and said that it was alright, but nothing special. She said she hasn't really found a Starbucks coffee that she loves yet, but I gave her a coupon so she could try a different flavor. My father-in-law had a cup as well and he said he prefers his coffee to be a lot stronger.
My husband isn't a huge coffee person, but he was willing to try a cup too. He thought it wasn't too bad and said he'd probably drink it again if it was already made.
When I went over to my mother's, I took some coffee over for them to try. They are coffee fanatics. My mom likes her coffee strong but she said she didn't mind the Veranda Blend too much. She'd drink it again. My sister, on the other hand, just loves coffee and said she liked it quite a bit. I gave them each a coupon to use the next time they're at the grocery store.
