One of the most recent products that I was allowed to review was the Shandali Travel Towel.

Tip from the company: Machine wash with cold water, at least the first time. Hang to dry quickly.

My Thoughts on This Towel

I was really curious to see how this towel would be any different from a regular cotton terry towel. Well, it really is. Why? Because the material that it is made from is different. It's very soft and smooth.

I received a medium in river blue (pictured above). Nice color. Decent size for travel.

What I like the most about this towel is the fact that I can use it to dry my hair. I don't like to use regular towels on my hair because the material frizzes up and messes up my hair. Not with this towel! This towel actually dries my hair fairly quickly and doesn't seem to mess up the pattern at all. Yay! :) Oh, yes, that makes me happy.

I can only think of one thing that I did not like so much, and it's not anything major. I was enjoying the fact that I could wrap up my hair easily with this towel and then hang it afterward and it would dry so quickly. I would hang it on a towel hook. Sadly, shortly after I received it, my son pulled it, and he didn't even pull it hard, but the little hook part ripped on one side. Maybe that part should be stitched on a little better or maybe he actually pulled it harder than I thought? I honestly don't know. I can still hang it from a towel rack, so everything is okay.

Yes, I like this towel.

Yes, I recommend, especially for those of you who don't like to use traditional towels on your hair. (I used to always use old cotton tees, but this towel works wonderfully!)

Yes, it would be good to take to the gym or on a trip, or just to store in your bag for emergency spills. It is very absorbent.
