Check out what I was sent a few days ago---another product from Adovia. This one isn't for my face though--it's actually their Dead Sea Mud Shampoo.
Product Details:
- Made with natural ingredients including Dead Sea Mud, Olive Oil, and Chamomile
- Hydrates and moisturizes the scalp
- Can help relieve flakiness and itching on the scalp
- Contains a very high concentration of essential Dead Sea Mud minerals
My Thoughts on This Product:
I don't normally like to use shampoos on my hair because practically all of the ones that I've tried have dried my hair out or left it limp and just feeling gross. Also, they strip the much needed oils from my hair--I have very curly hair, in case you didn't already know...
I usually just use conditioners or a shampoo bar.
I have been extremely happy with all of the other products that I have been using from Adovia so I had a good feeling that this product was going to be something good to try.
Sure enough, after using this shampoo a few times, (I only use it when my hair gets really sweaty after a workout), I was genuinely happy with the results.
When I use it I massage a bit into my wet hair while I'm showering and let it sit until I'm done washing my body. The reason that I do this is because I want to allow those essential minerals that are in it to sit. I want my hair to absorb the minerals as much as possible. Now, the bottle doesn't say that you have to do this, nor does any shampoo that I have ever used, but I have found that this works best for me.
What I do like, which may come as a surprise, is the fact that I don't really feel the need to use a conditioner after using this shampoo! It must be due to the fact that it has olive oil and chamomile in it. It softens my curls and leaves them very clean and there is a slight cool, invigorating feeling on my scalp, very slight, but it's there.
The only thing that I really wish was different is that it doesn't have much of a scent. I think that if it had a minty or citrusy scent in it, I might like it even more. I love the way it leaves my hair looking and feeling, but if it left it smelling amazing too--I'd probably never try another shampoo again! Actually, I don't plan on using any other shampoo for now because it really does make my curls look pretty.
