As a BzzAgent I was given yet another Garnier Fructis product to try out for free. This time it was the Hydra Recharge Shampoo, Conditioner, and 1-Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment.
Sadly, when I received the product in the mail, both the lids to the shampoo and conditioner were broken, so there was shampoo and conditioner all over the bottles. I cleaned them all off and luckily there was still a lot left in each bottle. The Hydra Recharge 1-Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment was fine though.
First off, let me tell you what I read about this product line:
- The shampoo has these tiny beads that burst when washing your hair and and create a rich, creamy lather
- The conditioner has a combination of goji berry, passion fruit, and kiwi to replenish hair
- The 1-minute treatment transforms dry hair in 1 minute (best if used twice a week)
- It's supposed to recharge your hair and keep it moisturized for up to 3 days
- Works best on dry to normal hair
- Available for sale at most grocery and drug stores
- Retails between $3.99 - $6.99
My Own Opinion on The Hydra Recharge Hair Product Line
Shampoo: The shampoo was a bit watery, more watery than most shampoos I've tried. I shook it up and it thickened up a bit. I did love the tiny moisture beads that would burst open as I lathered up my hair. My hair felt nice and clean afterward. It smelled very good too.
Conditioner: The conditioner smelled very nice and after leaving it on for a few minutes, it left my hair feeling so soft and smooth.
1-Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment: The treatment smelled just as good. I left it on for a minute and rinsed it off. My hair became even softer than the conditioner had left it. It felt so moisturized, less frizzy, and less tangled. Made it easier to straighten as well.
I really wish that the scent of these products would last for more than an hour or so after the shower. Other than that, it all worked pretty well on my hair. Is it the best moisturizing hair care line I've ever used? No, but it did leave my hair looking and feeling nice. Yes it did stay moisturized for a couple of days after. I love that. Yes, I do recommend this product for anyone hoping to add life and moisture to their dry hair!
Oh, and by the way, this product line works well with the previous product I reviewed for Bzzagent--I love to use the Garnier Fructis Miracle Dry Oil after washing and conditioning my hair with Hydra Recharge. It all works as a system to make my hair look and feel better than it has in a while.
