  Several years ago, I got pregnant with my son and my life completely changed. I became a stay at home mom for the very first time. This was all so new to me. I had always been the type to work outside the home and would normally spend very little time at my house.  Now, I was spending day after day, hour after hour, at home with a newborn. I also chose to exclusively breastfeed and was most comfortable doing that in the comfort of my own home. So, long story short, I was home practically all the time. That got a bit tough for me, but I didn't want to put my baby in daycare, nor did I want to leave him alone with a babysitter all the time.   This pandemic has affected us all in one way or another. For me, I feel as though it has made me want to reach out to my loved ones a lot more often. A simple check in with them from time to time just to let them know that I'm still here if they need me. Sometimes, I simply enjoy writing to them. I don't know about you guys, but ever since I was younger I've always felt that there's nothing more meaningful or more personal than a handwritten note . I'm talking about a thank you note, a thinking about you letter, a birthday wish, an I miss you letter, a congratulations message, an engagement announcement, a letter to a pen pal, etc. I'm sure you get the idea. I remember back when I was in school I used to write a ton of notes and letters to my friends and family all the time.
