Busy At The Gym Progress

Wow, guys, it's been a few weeks since I lasted posted, right?
I do apologize.

I have been super busy, but for a very good reason!
I've been going to the gym at least 6 days a week. I spend several hours there each day, working out, and enjoying some ME time away from the house.

I have literally become obsessed with it, and have been getting some excellent results. I have to share some pics with you guys just to prove how hard I've been working.

No photo description available.
(my current gloves that I use for Kickboxing---they're actually super worn now, but I LOVE them. They are way better than the Everlast ones that I owned before. Also, I bought them at Ross for under $20!)

I not only use weights and elliptical machines, cycling, and rowing, but I also do kickboxing every week, as well as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (I just joined this last month) 5 days a week, and I started taking a Fit Camp class  once a week too. So much exercise, but sooooo much fun. OMG.

First, I'm going to show you a picture that I took in April, compared to one from May. I really do not like the photo on the right, but I wanted to keep track of my progress, so I saved it. You can definitely see the slimming up, right?

Ok, now I'm going to show you guys my progress pics from each week

April 18---(I had gotten my dreads in and had already started hitting the gym harder for a little over a week. And when I say hard---I mean I was lifting weights every single day, cleaned up my eating habits drastically, did ab core work at home every day, and elliptical work.

May 9--You could already see a bigger difference in my arms here.

May 16--You could see an even bigger change in the toning on my arms here. I was so excited! And my body was definitely starting to look more firm. I was feeling really strong.

May 22--I was so excited here because I had purchased this shirt months before and it never fit me quite right until this day.

May22 evening--I was dressed differently for the gym. I had just started Jiu Jitsu and a rashguard is definitely a good idea under your GI (the uniform you wear).

May31--Feeling stronger, slimmer, and starting to see more definition in my legs, shoulders, sides, and arms.

Here's a better look at my arm and shoulders.

Oh yeah, a few of the amazing Jiu Jitsu ladies that I am proud to now call my friends and I do weighted rope pulling and pushing once a week too. It was tough at first but we're getting stronger and stronger every time. Here we were pulling 215 lbs. Once I even pulled the weights along with my 180 pound guy friend standing on top. I couldn't go very far but I did pull him a bit. So, what's that?---somewhere over 375 lbs?

June 10-- I wore this outfit again. You can see a lot more toning in this photo, compared to May 22. I love that, as my friend told me, being in Jiu Jitsu gives you the reason to
dress up like a superhero.
It sure does!! And all this working out sure is making me feel like one!

I'm beyond proud of myself. I'm eating a high raw vegan diet right now. I eat raw pretty much all day and then have a healthy cooked vegan meal in the evening. I haven't been having sweets, rice, bread, crackers, chips...I've been loading up on chia seeds, hemp hearts, flax seed, spirulina, carrot juice, kombucha, endless amounts of fruits and veggies, nuts, and seeds. Oh, and tons of water, of course!!

I can't wait to see how I'll look and feel over the next few months.
Exercising like this makes me sore from time to time, but it's so worth it. I feel amazing, compared to how I felt around this time last year.
My anxiety levels have dropped, I'm way healthier and happier than ever.

I'll post more progress photos and info soon.

Thanks for reading!!!
I'll also be posting up more chapters from my book soon.
